The 3rd TRANSTEC congress in Delhi is an international event coinciding with the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Talks at the event will discuss and explore new directions in the field of sustainable transport, green transport solutions and the rise of developing countries as a major player in transport industry and a global economic power.
We envision presentations and exhibits of research and technology in three main areas: sustainable transport, advanced systems for transport operations, and transportation modelling and simulation. Emphasis is on the methodological, theoretical and practical advances in science, engineering, and technology of transportation and environmentally sustainable transport systems. Particular emphasis would also be given to transport in developing and lesser developed countries.
In a similar fashion as in TRANSTEC Athens 2004, and TRANSTEC 2007 Prague, real world solutions to real world problems with real world examples are emphasized.
In this premier industry and academics international event, to match a unique period of change in developing countries and the Indian subcontinent, we aim at practical information and hands-on experiences that solve transportation challenges. TRANSTEC is designed for building relationships among developers and providers of products and services.
We invite audience that includes private entrepreneurs, government officials, and academics to exchange ideas and build cross-national collaborations. TRANSTEC will take place 4-7Th April, 2010, in one of the finest art deco venue in Delhi in Imperial Hotel, Janpath, which is in the heart of New Delhi.
TRANSTEC 2010 will be an event aiming to bring closer research collaboration between the universities and industries in the field of transport science. The event will aim to promote academic collaboration and links between European, American and other global universities and Indian institutes engaged in the field of sustainable city planning and transport systems. |
